Hello! I'm Alper KOC

I’m a mechanical engineer with 6 years of experience in project, utility, maintenance and production area.I have worked on projects which have budgetary of below 500k € in Unilever. Supporting from all these utility projects the company saved 15% of its energy cost in 2016. Beside all of these energy based projects, I was accountible for performing energy use research, predicting energy needs, installing and maintaining equipment used for producing energy. Also, making sure that water, HVAC services are performed with the help of preventive maintenance approach and engineering ability.

Until recently, I led sales and engineering for Munters Global, a field service engineer focused on HVAC quality improvement mainly for the pharmaceutical industry. In this role I was focused on commissioning dehumidifiers and maintenance agreement sales. Successes included making a big difference on energy consumption of one of the biggest pharmaceutical company that gave me an opportunity to perform and enhance my skills in wide area.Previous experience includes mass production in Arçelik Refrigerator Plant including process optimization, root cause analysis of breakdowns, quality problems and minor stoppages in continuous line. 

After all experience gained from these giant companies, I decided to transfer pladis Global (Godiva, McVitie's and Ulker) as a Project Executive. Investment projects (Capex & Opex) focusing on factory efficiency, capacity, growth and sustenance are mainly scope of my work in Project Management Field as a professional. Due to internal bottleneck (freezing investments budgetary accounts and labor optimization) in the company, I decided to look for a new opportunity.

Colleagues know me as a highly motivated and productive who can always be trusted to come up with a new approach. I prefer spending a lot of time understanding the needs before suggesting ideas. I’m at my best collaborating with others but I can (and often do) work well alone by considering all the details of any issue.

I have a BS from Middle East Technical University. Also I hold a Master of Business Administration degree from Istanbul Bilgi University.
